solidworks Screw mate example

I need to rotate a component on my assembly through the advanced mate limits but my components are solved as "Rigid" and the options are shaded, so they will not allow me to change them. I already have the top assembly set as "Resolved". Does anyone know what I need to do to change the components to Flexible
